Nick Viall “GMA” Video: Watch “The Bachelor” Interview
Nick Viall appeared on “GMA” on Thursday to talk about his upcoming gig on “The Bachelor.” Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported, last week it was announced that Viall will star on new season of “The Bachelor.” Though it won’t air until early next year, filming is set to begin shortly. And as a two-time veteran of “The Bachelorette,” as well as the just-concluded “Bachelor in Paradise,” the reality star is bringing some baggage with him.
On “Good Morning America,” Viall couldn’t help but laugh when Amy Robach said he must be hoping that “fourth time’s the charm.” The reality star admitted, “At first I was like, ‘Really? C’mon.’ They asked me, I was very nervous. It took me a couple days. I told them I had to think about it.”
“I didn’t have a lot of time to think about it, because they didn’t ask me too long ago,” Viall said, seemingly confirming rumors that fellow candidate Luke Pell was ousted at the last minute. He went on, “It’s a huge responsibility, but it’s obviously an amazing opportunity, so ultimately, I accepted.”
Asked about his “reservations,” Viall repeated his belief that taking on the role is a “huge responsibility.” He explained, “There’s a lot expectations that come with it. There’s also no guarantees. I think everyone knows — I get to be the Bachelor, I get to meet 25 amazing women — but you just never know if you’re gonna connect with them. Maybe you connect with someone who doesn’t like you back.”
That prompted Robach to crack, “Yeah, you know a little bit about that.” Check out the video below!
