Nick Viall and Peta Murgatroyd, and Nancy Kerrigan and Artem Chigvintsev were the sixth and seventh pairs eliminated from Season 24 of “Dancing With the Stars” during the show’s first double elimination on Monday. Both couples received the lowest scores from the judges and votes from viewers for last week’s dances, resulting in them being sent home. See the video below of the double eliminations.

Last week, Viall and Murgatroyd received just 28 out of 40 points, the lowest of the week. Meanwhile, Kerrigan and Chigvintsev got only 33 out of 40 and were in jeopardy of being sent home. This week, however, Viall gave his best performance of the season before being voted off. Carrie Ann Inaba noted his Argentine tango had “moments of extreme brilliance.” And before Kerrigan was eliminated, she too performed well, receiving 36 out of 40 points for her tango, which Len Goodman praised as “pretty good.” In the end, it was their time to go.

Viall and Kerrigan now join Heather Morris, who was eliminated from “Dancing With The Stars” last week after she and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy scored the season’s first perfect score for their flawless rumba to TLC’s “Waterfalls.” Before the “Glee” star’s exit, Erika Jayne and Gleb Savchenko were sent home. They followed in the unsynchronized footsteps of Mr. T and Kym Herjavec. And before them, Charo and Keo Motsepe were were booted the dance competition series. As Gossip Cop has previously noted, Chris Kattan and Witney Carson were the very first pair to be voted off this season’s “Dancing With The Stars.”
