Nick Nolte is Not in Rehab

“Last time we heard about Nick Nolte,” says Perez Hilton, “He was digging through his neighbors (sic) trash.”
Well, Hilton knows a thing or two about trash — he’s made a career out of it — but his expertise expires after that.
The blogger cites “sources” who claim Nolte “checked himself into a German rehab facility last month,” where he’s supposedly undergoing rigorous treatment for “addiction to alcohol and drugs.”
According to Hilton, on May 18 girlfriend Clytie Lane took Nolte to the “exclusive facility,” where he began a “regiment” of intravenous drips, blood cleansing and mud baths Hilton describes as “very grueling.”
(“Regimen,” Perez. Not “regiment.”)
Since Hilton doesn’t bother linking to other reporting, we’re left to believe that he “verified” the Nolte news himself.
Which explains why it’s completely wrong.
Nolte (pictured at right, happy and healthy with Lane on Monday) went to an alternative medical facility for work on his knee, not for substance abuse rehab, a rep for the actor confirmed to Gossip Cop.
