Nick Carter Ties For Lead On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ During “TV Night” (VIDEO)
Nick Carter and his partner Sharna Burgess tied for the highest score on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars” after dancing a Viennese waltz to the theme song of “Downton Abbey” for the dance show’s “TV Night.” Watch the video below.
Dressed in tails, Carter impressed the judges with his dignified dance to the theme of the uppercrust BBC show “Downton Abbey.” Julianne Hough told Carter, “You were a leading man,” and felt it was the “best dance of the night.” Bruno Tonioli particularly loved the “fine attention to the details.” He went on call Carter’s Viennese waltz “masterpiece theater.” Carrie Ann Inaba praised Carter for going from “pop artist to classical virtuoso.” And guest judge and former “Dancing With The Stars” champ Alfonso Ribeiro called the dance “near perfect.” He further advised Carter to pace himself during rehearsals.
So, how did Carter and Burgess do on the third week? The received 9s from all the judges to give them a total score of 36 out of 40, which tied them with Alexa PenaVega and Mark Ballas.
