Mariah Carey Says “Good Prognosis” for Nick Cannon After Kidney Surgery

Mariah Carey says Nick Cannon is in “stable condition” after undergoing surgery on Friday for kidney failure.

The singer tweeted, “Nick is in stable condition with a good prognosis,” adding, “Hopefully he’ll be discharged within 2 days.”

Carey also posted another photo of her at her husband’s bedside, with the caption “Thank you everyone for all the love & concern.”

The “America’s Got Talent” host is wearing a big smile in the picture — quite a difference from his expression when he first fell ill on Wednesday.

thank god he’s in stable condition and could be released on Sunday. this teaches us never to take our health for granted Nick easily could’ve died and left Mariah to raise Roc n Roe alone. losing a parent at any age is traumatic but especially for an infant/young child my maternal Grandmother lost her real father at age 2 when he drowned at Revere beach saving someone elses life

Certainly hope its a good prognosis for Nick Cannon. My prayers are with him and his wife Mariah Carrey. May they be capable of carrying on.
