Nick Cannon “Getting Back To Business” in Hospital (PHOTO)

Nick Cannon seems to be in relatively high spirits while still in the hospital for kidney failure.

The “America’s Got Talent” host tweeted a photo from his hospital room on Thursday, showing him getting his hair buzzed.

“Getting back to business,” he wrote.

On Wednesday, Mariah Carey revealed Cannon’s ailment, sharing that he fell ill while on vacation with their kids in Aspen, Colorado.

Later that day, Cannon was transferred to a Los Angeles hospital to continue receiving care.

“We’re trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances,” Carey wrote in a blog post, “but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful.”

    He probably didn’t feel right without one. It’s not like he’s dying. I’ve known people who don’t want to look a hot mess while they’re in the hospital.

    I think Nick is old enough to be able to decide for himself when and where he gets a haircut.

    leave the poor man alone he could end up needing a kidney transplant or being on dialysis for the rest of his life which isn’t easy I should know one of my cousins has been for 35 years 2 times a week

    I am still not clear on what is wrong with Nick. People are not hospitalized for days with *mild* kidney failure. I suppose its up to the family how much they disclose about his illness, but the information out there now is just confusing and misleading. In any event, I wish him well.

    Yeah, they are. What he probably has is a kidney stone that wouldn’t pass, got stuck in the urether and backed all his waste from that kidney up. Recipe for a nasty infection and will make you sick as a dog real fast. I mean sick like you wish you were dead and it’s very painful into the bargain. The docs have to take you to surgery, put you out, fish the damn thing out, put in a stent to make sure any smaller stones and all the yuck drains. They have to give you very strong IV antibiotics and IV fluids over several days and make sure you are fully recovered. My last one like this, I was in the hospital 9 days.
