Nick Cannon Makes First Appearance Since Health Scare, Sings Mariah’s Praises

Nick Cannon made his first public appearance since being hospitalized for kidney failure, taking the stage at Saturday’s BET Honors in Washington D.C.

With his new son Moroccan in tow, Cannon presented his wife, Mariah Carey, with an award and paid personal tribute to her for her support during his recent health scare.

Telling the audience that Carey makes him soup at 3:00 a.m. “when my kidney ain’t acting right,” Cannon continued, “What most people don’t get to experience is the human. To know you guys are honoring her tonight, I have to continue to honor her every day.”

Carey kept fans in the loop during Cannon’s health problems, tweeting photos and updates about his “good prognosis” while he was still in the hospital.

He was discharged last week.

From the looks of it, Cannon is (thankfully) very much on the mend!

    Obviously Nick is proud of Mariah and people need to learn that what did for him when he was in the hospital for kidney stones earlier in the month is what any concerned spouse/ex spouse would. when he brought Moroccan out to help present Mariah the award it was so sweet Roc in his lil’ tux reminded me so much of a brown eyed baby Frank Sinatra adorable. you could see on his face he’s proud of his mommy like Annabel Clark was of hers when she attended the academy awards with her in 1999 correct Annabel’s mom is the late Lynn Redgrave

    This is so sweet. I honestly love Nick Cannon, and while I’m not a huge fan of Mariah as a singer, I love their relationship. You just know that they are truly 100% in love with each other and their marriage will last. Moroccan is such a cutie pie!
