Niall Horan Sleeping Plane Photo Angers One Direction Singer
Niall Horan is understandably angered after a supposed fan took a photo of him as he slept on a plane. The One Direction singer specifically said he didn’t want to take pictures, but the woman snapped one anyway.
Horan tweeted about the situation on Monday night, re-posting the photo in question as well as the woman’s caption. She wrote, “And to sum up the PERFECT European adventure, I sat directly next to Niall from One Direction for 9 hours on my flight home from London last night. He was sick and asked for no selfies, but here is a pic I snapped while he was sleeping lol he was so friendly!”
The alleged fan went on, “Talked about Ireland LSE, lolla, and more. Not a British duke… But an Irish Popstar will do. thanks for treating me so well Europe!” Well, Europe may have treated her well, but she certainly wasn’t considerate of Horan on their flight.
The star tweeted, “I think this sh*t is unreal. I mean if you can’t sleep on a plane without people taking photos of you, what can u do?” Horan’s privacy invasion complaint was met by supportive reaction from true fans, who replied with sympathy and demands for respect.
This is the second time Horan has voiced his concerns on such issues in recent months. As Gossip Cop reported, in May Horan revealed that he was being harassed with “abusive” phone messages from strangers calling him. At the time, “#RespectNiall” became a trending topic as Directioners came to his defense. While this is a different situation, both incidents are uncalled for and reprehensible.
