Niall Horan And Liam Payne Prank Call Music Store (AUDIO)
During an “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” interview on Thursday, Horan and Payne were both asked to do their best American accents. Horan proved to do the better impression of an American, so Seacrest asked him to call Amoeba Music in Los Angeles and inquire about the popularity of Made in the A.M.
For the prank call, Horan pretended to be an American radio host named Nighttime Neil. “How’s the One Direction album selling in your store,” Horan asked the Amoeba Music employee on the other end of the phone. “It’s about double our sales,” the employee revealed. The singer excitedly responded, “That’s a great stat! OK, uh, thank you! Tune into KIIS-FM with Nighttime Neil tonight!”
Everyone laughed as Horan hung up the phone, but Seacrest pointed out that towards the end of the call, “You lost your accent a little bit,” to which the singer admitted, “I know. I was getting nervous.” Listen to Horan and Payne’s “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” interview below, and tell Gossip Cop what you think. The prank phone call begins around the 17-minute mark.
