One Direction’s Niall Horan Apologizes for Jokingly Calling Fans the C-Word (VIDEO)

Niall Horan took to Twitter on Friday to apologize for jokingly calling fans the c-word.

The One Direction member had used the obscenity in jest when approached by fans at a Dublin airport earlier this week, calling them a “shower of c**ts.”

After the out-of-context moment was caught on camera and posted online, some fans were offended, prompting the apology.

Horan tweeted, “Really sorry if I caused any offence. It was just banter with fans who I think of more as mates.”

The singer continued, “But I understand that it’s not a word I should be using at all.”

    I’m a huge one direction fan and I limited my obsessions to a certain amount because yes they are flattered that we love them but it will get annoying. Try walking around and having a group of people you don’t know follow your ever move that’s annoying and freaky. He’s human too, they will be days where he just wants to be alone. I’m not saying that what he said is okay, it’s just that the life of being famous isn’t as good as it looks. You have critics making up lies about them. So get off his back, he knows that he wouldn’t have made it without us and he’s greatful for that. Your used to be husband made one mistake and you judge him for the rest of his life? Get a life, and leave him alone! Just because you have know all their songs and cry at the sight of them doesn’t mean your a true fan or directioner according to your obsession. A real fan or directioner respects that they’re human too not just a bunch of pretty faces that do and say as you please.

    Takes one to know one. He properly just had a bad day, he’s bending backwards just to stay up lates nights making new songs and performing just for us when we’re fast asleep or stalking him. T least he apologized which he could’ve easily not bother to do. He’s not a doll he’ll have days, have of you use those words on a daily bases anyway. And you guys wonder why they don’t ask you to marry them at signings.

    You know if you think so why don’t you just forget about him. He has real directioners who understand that we can be annoying with our stalking and such. We don’t mind if you’re angry because you have nothing better to do right now than hate him, he has more haters than the about of hair on your head yet he’s still standing strong and making millions.
