“New Moon” Rises Early with Kristen Stewart & Taylor Lautner Special Screening

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will attend a special benefit screening of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” in Knoxville, TN on November 17 – three days before the highly anticipated movie opens nationwide.

Two points have caused some confusion since the announcement, so here’s what Gossip Cop knows:

1.  The event is a special screening to benefit a charitable cause, NOT an actual premiere.

2.  A source close to the production told Gossip Cop that Robert Pattinson will NOT be at the screening, despite rumors.

A limited number of seats will be made available by drawing to the public. Each winner will have the opportunity to purchase two tickets for $100 apiece. Proceeds will benefit Variety – the Children’s Charity of Eastern Tennessee.

The screening will be held at Regal Cinemas Pinnacle Stadium 18.
