NEW CLAIM: Rachel Uchitel “Scared for Her Safety” as Tiger Woods Scandal Spreads

Yesterday Gossip Cop told you about whispers that Rachel Uchitel – the party promoter rumored to have had an affair with Tiger Woods – was being paid to stay silent on the matter.

Reports today claim Uchitel “did not make any financial deal,” and that her decision to cancel yesterday’s scheduled press conference resulted from “fear and secrets.” According to TMZ‘s sources, Uchitel became “scared for her safety” given her supposed knowledge about Woods and his personal life, including “specifics about other women” and information about the golfer’s marriage. Sources claim Uchitel does not fear Tiger himself, as much as she “fears all the other people caught in what is becoming a very large net.” This is all starting to sound very odd and mysterious, but details are emerging and many loose ends have yet to be tied in the Woods scandal.

Whether or not it’s actually true (as TMZ reports) that “this was absolutely not about money,” Gossip Cop has a strong feeling we won’t hear anything more from Uchitel.

Bloom said the payoff was in the 7 figures, she went on to say, she has never EVER known her mother to cancel a press conference, and is pretty definitive it was money.

    Uchitel is realizing that though she’s a million or so richer, she is also going to be known as one of 3 sluts who destroyed a young family in the eyes of the world – she can’t put the cat back in the bag, after admitting she bagged Tiger. My suggestion, take your cold hard cash, and slink off to the cesspool you came out of. That should buy you plenty of silicone lip injection maintenance and other plastic procedures, in the upcoming years.

    I thought you prided yourself in debunking shit, there is no proof here. No statement from her Rep.
