Nelson Mandela is the latest victim of a sick, FAKE death hoax.

NOTE: This rumor RETURNED on September 13, 2011.

According to reports spreading rapidly online, especially via Twitter, the iconic South African leader has passed away.

Mandela is NOT dead.

He is ALIVE and WELL.

Much like recent rumors about Owen Wilson dying while snowboarding, Eddie Murphy passing away, Adam Sandler having died, and the same disgusting rumor about Charlie Sheen – this is NOT TRUE.

Mandela is VERY MUCH ALIVE.

These hoaxes have happened many times before.

They’re not funny. They’re not cool. They’re not entertaining.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, Gossip Cop is at a total loss as to why anyone would concoct phony fatalities, and sincerely hopes the only thing that dies out are these horrible hoaxes.

    Hey guys what is really the big deal if mandela dies or stays alive, is he not old enough to rest in peace? is it until he cuts his flesh for South Africa that we will allow him a peaceful rest. What have we done with the numerous things and legacies he lived for and will live for us. Dr Nelson Mandela has done his bit and should allowed to rest in peace when ever God says so.
