As usual it’s a Bauer publication spewing this stuff. I’ve said this numerous times here. Someone at Bauer has a vendetta against Jolie. It’s personal with this tabloid, in all it’s markets.

I agree Leah, and what I find distressing is that Gossipcop not only has FAILED to address this about Bauer publications (personal vendetta against Jolie), in any significant way, but that with regards to THIS particular lie, they make pains to call this BAUER PUBLICATION (parent to In Touch and Life & Style and other lying rags), Das Neue, “a random German magazine.” IT IS NOT!!! How can it be “random,” if the parent company is Bauer Publications, a tabloid media giant worldwide, who on a weekly basis sickeningly slurs Jolie and her family in all of it’s markets as you state.

It doesn’t matter if a housewife in Boise is being assaulted with ‘In Touch,’ or a housefrau in Germany is being assaulted with ‘Das Neue,’ it’s the same batch of evil. WHY CAN’T GOSSIPCOP GIVE THE BACKGROUND??

I would think a site like Gossipcop would want the truth out there, and not try to cover up the fact that this rag is a tablod owned by the biggest tabloid culture destroying behemoth in the world.

The rating of “1,” is laughable. What good is your rating system when you fail to be consistent as to what gets ‘rated,’ and why? Why isn’t this a big fat zero? This is a tBauer tabloid, an outfit that lies about Jolie weekly, and they claim Jolie gave them an interview directly. THAT is what you disprove. If you’re to lazy to do ot Gossipcop, then don’t even address the rumor.

This HAD to be the easiest item to disprove. Show the interview did not happen. Show that the likelihood of Angelina talking to a tabloid media giant that slurs her family weekly IS NIL.

First of all, the tabloid doesn’t even say THAT she says that (sure that is what they are inferring, but why would you make the story MORE salacious?) Why in helll, would you be asking sources THAT question – why wouldn’t you FIRST find out if the interview happened, if it exists, when you find out that Jolie gave NO SUCH INTERVIEW, THEN you call the PUBLICATION out for the sleazy liars they are. It’s THAT simple.

Yet it seems you went another, more BIZARRE route which is essentially the equivalent of the ‘Do you still beat your wife?’ negative guilty implication, akin to asking sources close to Jolie, “Do you know if Angelina has stopped cheating on Brad yet?”

That said, let’s quickly go over what Gossipcop, SHOULD HAVE SAID: That Das Neue, is not really a “magazine,” as that implies some degree of mainstream media cache. That Das Neue is a tabloid, and one of the worst. It’s in the style of News of The World, or In Touch, and about just as reputable. (BAUER it’s parent, as most in the media know is a tabloid giant, publishing In Touch, Life & Style, and Das Neue – surprise! – whose closest world competitor is American Media Inc – the parent co. of Star Magazine and The National Enquirer) fails to mention what you, I and millions know already (and what Gossipcop visitors would know, IF they had chosen to be open, above board and reveal it) – that Das Neue is a TABLOID, one of the MOST sensational LYING eurotrash tabloids around.

Das Neue is actually a German tabloid. Angelina hasn’t done an interview with Das Neue. The interview is totally fabricated. I appreciate the effort that gossipcop tell the truth. And hope gossipcop can also expose the whole interview is fake.

You don’t need to be very bright to have guess that was just another false interview. Jolie doesn’t give interviews to tabloids and she only does press when she has o film or UNHCR projects to promote.

The one thing I have noticed when it comes to Gossip Cop and debunking Angelina Jolie rumors, is that it is never done in a manner that completely refutes the rumors. It’s always done in a very ambiguous manner, almost deliberately so. How hard would it have been to contact Jolie’s manger, Gyer Kosinksi to find out if she gave this interview. Rather, Gossp Cop reaches to sources (I imagine they are the same “sources” that the tabloids use) to question them about the open relationship referenced in the “interview”. Gossip Cop surely knows Das Neue is tabloid, but curiously refrains from stating that fact.

I believe Gossip Cop knows exactly the source of all these salacious Angelina rumors but won’t come out and outright refute, it for fear of biting the very hand that feeds it.

It wouldn’t shock me if a HW (highly public) couple weren’t exactly like their public image… but it IS dumb to think that a German tab, that no one in the US has ever heard of got a scoop like this.

Cleo and Leah, I’m not sure how much you know about how publishing houses work, but I have worked in tabloids for four years. A company may own many magazines, but they are never, in my experience, clued in as to what the other mags in the building or the company are publishing. We are still all competing against each other and secrecy is watertight. It’s highly unlikely that someonein the company has a vendetta that they are somehow able to spread across all the magazines, each with their own editorial teams, in different departments and even different countries. There is no great puppet master at work. More likely, Angelina-hate covers sell, and that’s that. I imagine Gossip Cop won’t explore this theory because it is highly improbable.

Dear missx, if your deductive reasoning is as fck’d up as it sounds, no wonder the tabloids are in the sh*tter and dying a slow painful death. Tabloids are NOT selling, they are reducing their rates, and their circulation is practically non-existent. If Angelina hate sells, how do you explain the positive stories on Angelina and her family in People being the best-selling cover, excluding the 9/11 tragedy. If you compared the revenue numbers of the positive or neutral stories vs the preposterous hateful stories, the positive stories win every time. What’s more shocking than your stupidity and absolute lack of business sense as an admitted tabloid sleaze-meister, is the lack of ethics you posess, admitting you work for slime that knowingly and premeditatedly spins hurtful lies and fiction on the baseless unproven ground that it ‘sells more.’ I reside on one of the largest celebrity websites as a web master and the Brad & Angelina fandom outnumber the other boards 100 to 1. Sadly, rag sheets are either totally incompetent or set on exacting a vendetta against this couple and young family, and so they’d rather leave money on the table, rather than give up the futile ‘hate,’ which thanks to the web, is sometimes disproven almost as soon as their lies go to print. Wake up. If you have any contacts in that craploid world that can make a difference, get a conscious, and make yourself useful to society and the world and work to end these culture destroying rags.

Oh and one more thing – Missx, you still don’t explain why Gossipcop, did not reveal that Das Neue is one of the worst tabloids in Germany, owned by a tabloid giant that publishes proven lies every single week (IOutta Touch, Out of Style). Quit deflecting and passing the buck.

Cleo, you are apparently Brangelina fangirl. Get over your obsession. People come to this site for “true or not true”, as I did, and in this case the verdict is “not true”. Okay. Next.

If you are so obsessed with “in depth” reporting for the protection of Brangelina, start your own website devoted to it (instead of just lurking on one) and win yourself a Pulitzer and the gratitude of the royal couple. (Maybe they’ll hire you as a nanny, then you can get the real scoop.) Lord knows they don’t have enough money to defend themselves or an army of people looking after their welfare? Do they really did your free help? Why are you so offended, if they are not? Could not they have one of their people pick up the phone to People magazine, which seems to be their official mouthpiece, and deny it? In the past I believe they have denied other things. Just guessing that they don’t really care one way or the other, they know their own reality. Or maybe they court the controversy and free publicity? It certainly keeps them in the news and on the websites between movies and so close to awards season, not to mention the fingers of all their fangirls busy spreading the love.

Oh, and one more thing … your website will be better received if you keep your juvenile expletives out of it (so lazy of you) not to mention that our culture, that you seem so worried about, will be closer to being saved.

Cleo, I don’t feel sorry for those who chose to live their lives in the spotlight and are obscenely wealthy as a result. If celebrities did not want to be photogaphed, they could avoid it. How often do you see Beyonce and Jay Z in the tabloids, for instance? Brad and Angelina know they will be photographed in Times Square or LA. They chose to be under the focus of tabloids. If Brad and Angelina want to pay me to write positive stories about them I will. They can and I hear do routinely plant in tabloids themselves. I don’t know where you get your stats from, but I am not in the USA and where I work, tabloids are thriving and “negative” stories – such as break up and cheating stories – outsell positive stories. Sad but true. If the public wanted it otherwise, we would ensure they had it. We do run surveys and we give them what they want. So before you call me blood thirsty, have a look around at society at large, where you will find the majority wants to see these “idols” fall. And why not? They are rich, over-privileged media whores. They don’t need your protection – they can buy anything they want, including positive press, if they care enough about it to do so. Look at Jen Aniston – it’s widely believed she plants most of those poor-Jen stories her damn self. Angelina can do the same – and has done. How do you think those happy family photos of her in the depths of Africa surfaced when she first ran off with Brad? Photogs have admitted they were called out there. I will never understand those like you who worship the wealthy and famous. What do Brad and Angelina do for you? They pay my salary just by strolling about NY saying look-at-my-happy-family, so perhaps I should be a Brangeloonie.

One more thing – who exactly are the tabloids hurting? Not Brad and Angelina. Last time I looked they were still rich, beautiful and f-ing each other.
