Neil Patrick Harris to Make Feature Film Directing Debut

Neil Patrick Harris, who most recently directed “Rent” on stage at the Hollywood Bowl, is next set to direct his very first feature film.

The film, Aaron and Sarah, is slated to star Josh Hutcherson and Emma Roberts, and according to The Hollywood Reporter is a romantic comedy about “a geeky guy and a popular girl who become friends as freshmen in high school and see their relationship deepen through the four years, four proms and one funeral before graduation.”

As of now, there’s no start date for the independent production.
