Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill was injured in a tour bus accident, and the band has postponed its Sunday concert in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Followill was treated for broken ribs after the incident, which occurred when a pedestrian jumped in front of Kings of Leon’s bus, causing it to come to an abrupt halt.

The group gave its fans an update on Facebook:

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to an accident on their tour bus, Kings of Leon will unfortunately have to postpone tonight’s show in Saratoga Springs, NY. The band was en route to their hotel after their show in Boston when a pedestrian jumped in front of their tour bus, causing the bus to stop short, injuring Nathan Followill.

Nathan is being treated for broken ribs, but is doing well. The band will postpone the show that was planned for TONIGHT, August 10th, until further notice. Refunds for ticket holders will be available at point of purchase.

Followill expressed his gratitude for fans’ support on Twitter.

“Thank you for all of the get well soons. I’m a little banged up but will be back better than ever,” he tweeted.

Kings of Leon is slated to appear on Tuesday’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

There’s been no word yet on whether that will still happen.
