Naomi Watts plays the late Princess Diana in the upcoming Caught in Flight, and the first pictures of Watts’ portrayal have surfaced.

The movie, directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel, centers on the princess’ final two years before her 1997 death in a car accident.

At the time of her casting, Watts said it was an “honor to be able to play this iconic role — Princess Diana was loved across the world, and I look forward to rising to the challenge of playing her on screen.”
