"with a longstanding reputation for excellence in all aspects of her artistry"??? Seriously, that sentence alone is as standard P.R. boilerplate as it gets! There is probably a lot of truth to the fact that Britney needs a little help in the vocal department, and chances are that this girls vocals were used to "enhance" Britney's. This girl's contribution as a backing vocalist is most definitely greater than a few repeated verses in the background! I don't see how anyone who's actually heard Britney sing live thinks this is total bullshit. Especially the person that wrote this article who has an apparent hard-on for Britney herself, if the total abscence of objectivism in this article is any indication. The real singers were credited as background vocalists, brought into the studio as inconspicuously as possible, and weren't allowed to meet Rob & Fab (the lipsynchers) in public. Charles Shaw, who did the rap on "Girl You Know It's True", spilled the beans to a couple papers and got paid off to retract his statements and claim he made them up. It wasn't until the real singers AND the lipsynchers got fed up and started pressuring the producer that he let the cat out of the bag. That doesn't prove Britney's doing it now, but it does mean the concept isn't as "ridiculous" as claimed here.
