As Gossip Cop reported, Musicality wowed during the “AGT” Judge Cuts with Demi Lovato’s “Skyscraper,” after previously taking on One Direction for their audition. The Chicago high school students now said they “want to prove that no matter where we come from, we belong here.” And so, for the first live episode of season 11, they showed off their gorgeous voices with Grande’s “One Last Time.”
“I’m just so happy to see you guys,” Mel B told the group afterward. “You really light up the room. You really, really do. I love what you bring to the stage. I love what you stand for… I’m rooting for you always.”
While Heidi Klum admitted she wanted to see “more outstanding solos because the voices are all in there,” she also praised, “This is the best I have ever heard you guys.” Simon Cowell said, “I think you guys, like other acts we’ve seen, have just got better and better and better. I do.”
The music mogul even noted he’s “had so many friends of mine call me” to say how much they love Musicality. And to the choir’s director, Cowell said, “I think you’re such an inspiration. Everyone needs someone like you in their lives.”
And Howie Mandel simply told the act, “My judgment is what you do: You inspire.” Watch the full video below!
