A lot of the excitement over The Muppets comes from an inventive marketing campaign that’s played off of the iconic creatures themselves, their human counterparts (like Jason Segel and Amy Adams), and current pop cultural fixations.

The latest parody trailer takes its inspiration from the kinetic teaser for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, a movie you wouldn’t necessarily match with The Muppets.
