The 2012 MTV Movie Awards hit Los Angeles on Sunday.

Russell Brand is hosting the ceremony — starting at 9:00 p.m. Eastern — from the Gibson Amphitheatre, where presenters include stars ranging from Adam Sandler and Chris Hemsworth to Emma Stone and Kate Beckinsale.

Charlize Theron, Andrew Garfield, Emma Watson, Mila Kunis, Mark Wahlberg, Jessica Biel and tons of other big celebs will also be on hand, with The Black Keys and Wiz Khalifa among the musical performers.

Stars are due to arrive at approximately 7:00 p.m. Eastern.

    I liked Kristen’s dress on her but she went back to her slouching and bad posture. Shame cus she’d been looking really good lately. And couldn’t GossipCop have used a better picture of her for their red carpet arrival shots. They picked a really awful looking shot. She looks much better in the arrival pics released by other sites.

    Srsly? Kristen’s dress looks like half a superhero costume and she forgot the tights and boots. The color washes her already pale skin out, it’s not flattering at all. And not being able to wear heels all night like every other actress who’s doing their job at these public events is getting really old. She’s not a child, she needs to suck it up and act like an adult. She’s supposed to be an actress, right?

    She couldn’t have been more awkward in presenting the most popular actress award to Jennifer Lawrence, and award she wasn’t even nominated for this time. If she’s so uncomfortable being in her own skin she should create a persona for these appearances the way Beyonce does, because it creeps out the audience when she’s so twitchy and incoherent.

    I felt sorry for her when no one wanted to step up and kiss her. Made her look like a loser even though she was collecting an award. They were all there, they could have joined her–I know Nikki would have been able to do the job, those two used to make out all the time.

    They should have a photo of Emma Stone, she looked so classic and was so gracious in her acceptance speech. She could give Kristen a few lessons.

    Kristen looked great and hey! She’s only been running all over the world promoting her new movie and I wouldn’t wear those ridicules toothpicks on my feet either for fear of falling and killing myself.

    Charlize has been running all over the world and made even more appearances than Kristen and she’s over 10 years older. She managed to wear her high heels all night, and a knockout dress. Cause she’s an adult and knows how to act like one. She’s a professional, not a spoiled child who refuses to grow up and behave the way that’s appropriate.

    Kristen tries to have her cake and eat it too, about everything, which is why she has a reputation of snarling entitlement and comes across as being ungrateful.

    I’m pretty sure that no where in here contract states that she should wear high heels all night, let alone any at all.

    As for her being uncomfortable onstage, I admire that. She doesn’t pretend that she feels a certain way when she’s not.

    Why would the other actors she called up would want to step onstage and steal her spotlight? Although I’m sure if Kristen were serious about that and the other actors knew, they would’ve been there in a heartbeat.

    I love Emma Stone too but what one may find beautiful, another may not.

    Yeah, like you said, Charlize is older (way older than 10 years of Kristen’s age), she did wear her heels all night, but guess what? She was a model.

    And not only that, she has been in the business for many years, making her more exprienced with promos.

    kristen was great and jennifer didn’t get the most popular u idiot she got best actress and kristen won that every other year before so get your facts right. ps i really don’t think that she wanted someone to come on stage and join her because she would probably get freaked out, it was jsut apart of her whole speech so shut up you little turd. kristen was very gracious and didn’t twich so if you don’t like watching her stop. that the mtv awards if you can’t wear sneakers there were can you.
