Moushumi “Love Yourself” “The Voice” Video: Watch Live Playoffs Performance!
Moushumi put her own spin on Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” for her first live performance on “The Voice” on Tuesday. Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported, the Indian-American singer, who dropped out of med school to pursue her dreams of becoming a singer, turned three chairs during the Blind Audition. Blake Shelton said he would’ve hit his button, too, except for the fact his team was already full. It was Pharrell who ended up winning her over.
Then during the Battles, Moushumi got the dreaded montage treatment, before showing during the Knockouts that she still had work to do. Now during the Live Playoffs, she showed off her unique voice with a new arrangement of Bieber’s hit song. The result was simply beautiful.
“I loved what you did with it,” Christina Aguilera told Moushumi. “It’s got a cool, dark twist to it, and I’m all for trying to reinvent the wheel. Kudos to you.”
Pharrell told his artist, “This is something you’re supposed to be doing. You have a following around the world. Let’s keep it going and keep them enthused the way you have them now.” Watch full video of Moushumi’s “Love Yourself” performance below!
