Molly Shannon Joins “The Talk”

Molly Shannon will join “The Talk” as a guest host for the month of September when the show returns amid tumult next Tuesday.

A source close to Shannon tells Gossip Cop she will guest host, which could lead to a permanent gig on the panel.

The “Saturday Night Live” alum will appear alongside Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood.

Osbourne is due to take a hiatus, opening room for another guest host, Kris Jenner.

Original co-hosts Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete have left the program.

She is on TV enough…. if she is on this show, which I rarely watch, but, she is so self centered, it will be I did this, my daughter Kim did that, Kourt did this, and this younger 2, what’s their names, it starts with a K…. blah blah blah, buy this, buy that, blah blah blah, I had my vaJay jay waxed… blah blah blah buy buy buy…..

    I am SO disappointed that Leah was not asked to come back. Why? The show was so nice the way it was, why change it when it isn’t broke? Unfortunately the only other one on the show worth watching Sharon, I think we can say good bye to the talk, They have taken out people that made the show real, and feeling like you were sitting down with your girlfriends, If I wanted The View I would watch the View. I hate the view which is why The Talk was great, NOTHING like The View! Shame on you CBS! You will be sorry for the changes you made, and look for your ratings to fall.

    I’ve never seen one episode of this show and I don’t intend to. But Molly Shannon is a damn good talent and I think she’s wasting it on this. But that’s just me.

    The Talk will NOT be worth watching after Leah, Holly and Sharon leave… Julie Chin certainly has nothing to offer. For me, I am back at watching the View…too bad though because I felt the Talk had nice people…guess are not the nice ones.

    The Talk? No – Now I call it THE WALK. As in – no more watching this piece of Cr@p hosted by the most plastic and boring woman on television (aka the CHEN, aka married to the head of CBS). Jealousy will get you NOWHERE Julie. You had some great talent in Remini and HRP. You BLEW IT. I am SO GONE.

    Oh, and Chris Jenner? ARE YOU KIDDING?!!!!! Talk about an over exposed gas bag of an annoying woman! Ewwwwwww!

    I love The Talk, but am VERY disappointed that Holly and Leah are no longer going to be on. It just won’t be the same. I doubt if I will watch it anymore. They helped make the show. VERY BAD MOVE on producers part!!!! I am shocked, they all seemed so close.

    I liked seeing the more fun side of Julie Chen; have always loved Sharon’s outrageous antics, and Sarah’s quiet humour. Unfortunately they lost the glue that held them together and brought out the best in all of them-Holly and Leah! You won’t find other women that mesh so well and entertain us so much! I HATE The View-bickering and nastiness; this is why The Talk was so refreshing! I am so glad that I won’t watch anymore-if I hear “Kardashian” for anything else… really, there is no talent or achievement in that family except BRUCE-oh, but he’s a JENNER!! Molly, you are amazingly talented-Sheryl, your “joke” was horribly insensitive and inappropriate and Molly’s dad was “being a dad”-it happens with “white-folk”, too!
