Miranda Lambert, Anderson East Wedding Postponed Story NOT True
Miranda Lambert has not postponed her wedding to Anderson East, despite a new tabloid story. Gossip Cop can reveal the truth. As we’ve already reported, the two were not set to wed in the first place.
Life & Style ran a fictitious cover story nearly a month ago falsely claiming Lambert was pregnant and marrying East. It was said Lambert was “pushing hard to get everything set” for the wedding “by the end of the year.” Gossip Cop, however, exclusively learned that the tale was untrue.
So now the magazine is trying to get out of its lie. That’s why this week’s new issue features an article claiming there’s now a “time out” on Lambert’s “rush to the altar.” It’s noted that the country superstar is launching a new album and preparing for a tour, with it being said the “focus on her career has forced Miranda to put off another important project: her upcoming wedding.”
“She and Anderson were shooting for an end-of-the-year wedding in Nashville and were working hard on the preparations. But juggling the wedding while planning the tour and promoting the album just became too much for Miranda. She had to put it off,” a so-called “insider” claims to the publication.
The supposed source goes on to say, “Anderson was the first to tell Miranda she was taking on too much with the wedding, a new album and a huge tour. They’re waiting for a less hectic time.” Still, the outlet claims East “suggested eloping,” but alleges it’s more “likely they’ll push the nuptials back until next summer.”
And what about the baby Lambert is supposedly expecting? Well, that’s not mentioned at all, despite last month’s “pregnant bride” cover story. So, what we really have here is Life & Style ignoring one of its big mistakes, while giving an excuse for why it’s other huge claim, also a mistake, won’t come true.
That’s called damage control, and Gossip Cop can see right through it. The tabloid was misinforming readers before, and is still misinforming readers now.
