Miranda Lambert And Gwen Stefani “Showdown” Never Happened, Despite Report
The “showdown” is alleged on the new cover of OK!, which further blares, “Fight Over Blake Explodes!” According to the magazine, “Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert’s warm backstage chat at a recent awards show has Gwen Stefani seeing red.” What supposedly happened?
The outlet claims Shelton and Lambert “had a run-in backstage” at last week’s ACM Honors, where “the vibe was far less frosty than might have been expected.” The exes were allegedly seen “having a real conversation,” before they “retreated behind closed doors for some privacy.” Though it’s said nothing “untoward happened,” a so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “Blake told Gwen right away about his encounter with Miranda.”
“He thought she’d be happy they’d gotten the chance to call some things water under the bridge,” continues the supposed source. “Instead, though, it sent her into a panic.” The tabloid goes on to allege that an enraged Stefani “promptly sent a text to Miranda telling her to ‘stay away from Blake,'” and “soon there was a flurry of angry messages going back and forth between the two women.”
Yes, that’s the supposed “showdown.” The outlet’s snitch says, “Gwen went on a rampage, and Miranda didn’t hold back either… God help them all if they come face to face anytime soon.” Of course, it’s OK! that needs the help.
This is the same publication that just last week said Lambert was planning a wedding to Anderson East, and that’s not even mentioned in this new tale. Also not mentioned: The multiple times the tabloid has said Stefani was pregnant with Shelton’s baby. But the magazine has never had reliable “insiders” on any of these celebrities, and just seems to make it all up as it goes along.
That’s why we have this new cover story hinged on Lambert and Shelton both being at the ACM Honors… where nothing happened. Nothing happened afterward, either. A rep for Stefani exclusively tells Gossip Cop these “showdown” claims are entirely “untrue.”
