Miranda Lambert Did NOT “Shade” Gwen Stefani At CMAs, Despite Report
According to OK!, while Lambert hasn’t commented on Stefani dating her ex-husband Blake Shelton, she “made a statement on the CMAs red carpet that proves she isn’t fond of the new romance!” Oh, did Lambert do a secret interview? Did she communicate using sign language?
No. The outlet is sounding a “feud alert” because Lambert debuted a new hairstyle. Really. “Miranda jabbed her ex-hubby’s new relationship by debuting pink locks,” writes the magazine. “The tresses, which look stunning on Miranda, are similar to Gwen’s signature look.”
That’s literally all the information OK! has. The tabloid conveniently fails to mention this is the third time Lambert has dyed her hair this year, or that her favorite color is pink. Hence the names of the store she owns, Pink Pistol, and her recent tour, “Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars.”
It’s also worth noting that Stefani’s hair was pink all the way back in 1999. So, when Carrie Underwood had pink tips in 2011, was she dissing Stefani, too? Please.
Amazingly, this isn’t even the first “feud” story about Stefani that the magazine has run this week. Just a few days ago, Gossip Cop corrected its erroneous claims about about the No Doubt front woman being in a “diva standoff” with fellow “Voice” coach Christina Aguilera. Now OK! is again trying to capitalize on a hot topic and buzzy stars. Gossip Cop looks forward to the outlet’s next story, about Aguilera and Lambert teaming up against Stefani. We’re that one will make us roll our eyes, too.
