Miranda Lambert Divorce: Did She Cheat On Blake Shelton Twice?
As Gossip Cop reported, Shelton and Lambert announced they were divorcing on Monday after four years of marriage. A few hours after their joint statement was released, the divorce was finalized by an Oklahoma judge, officially ending their marriage. Shelton had filed for divorce two weeks ago.
Now TMZ reports Shelton was moved to pull the plug after learning Lambert had been unfaithful. And this was allegedly not the first instance of infidelity. The site claims Shelton first “heard rumors Miranda had hooked up with country singer Chris Young and thought it was believable enough to make him suspicious of her.”
Young had opened for Lambert on tour in 2012, and they kept in touch, most recently being seen together in February of this year. But TMZ claims it wasn’t Young, but a different guy, who is NOT in the country music business, that led Shelton to file for divorce, alleging he “received certain information about Miranda and the other guy that elevated things in Blake’s head from rumor to fact.”
While TMZ broke the story of Lambert and Shelton’s divorce, and other outlets, including Gossip Cop, confirmed it, there is no corroboration yet of these latest allegations, and no evidence so far to substantiate them. As for Shelton’s part, though, People cited a source Monday as saying “he has been faithful” to Lambert throughout their marriage, and “hasn’t cheated ever.”
As Gossip Cop previously noted, Lambert and Shelton have not mentioned each other on social media since April, skipping over his birthday and their wedding anniversary. Two days prior to the divorce announcement, Lambert performing ring-less in Wyoming, breaking down as she sang “The House That Built Me,” a song Shelton passed on to her. Shelton was seen wearing his wedding band at a NASCAR event in New Hampshire on Sunday. Gossip Cop will continue to have updates.
UPDATE: Chris Young denies he had an affair with Miranda Lambert.
