Miranda Lambert: I’m Coping With Blake Shelton Divorce By “Living Off Caffeine And Sad Songs” (VIDEO)
While performing at the 3rd And Lindsley Bar And Grill in Nashville, Lambert opened up to the crowd about how she’s been feeling since the split. Before Lambert launched into her song “Dear Diamond,” she addressed the crowd saying, “Well, I’ve been living off of caffeine and sad songs lately.” She added, “So we’re gonna drink some caffeine and sing sad songs.”
Other country stars to perform at the show included RaeLynn, Jessi Alexander, Clare Dunn, Courtney Cole and Natalie Hemby. According to eyewitnesses at the concert, Lambert mouthed along as Alexander sang two of Shelton’s songs, and she also asked RaeLynn to perform the song “Love Triangle,” which talks about RaeLynn’s parents going through a divorce.
As Gossip Cop reported, Shelton and Lambert announced their divorce last week after four years of marriage. Despite the pair’s relationship coming to an end (and webloid reports), they seem to be on good terms with one another.
