Miley Cyrus Wedding Plans Story Is Life & Style Flip-Flop
Miley Cyrus isn’t planning her wedding to Liam Hemsworth, according to Life & Style. That’s a complete flip-flop from the tabloid, which has spent much of this year claiming Cyrus was a “pregnant bride” and secretly “married.”
Back in February, a fabricated cover story announced, “Miley’s Married!” In May, as if that had never been printed, a new cover deemed Cyrus a “Pregnant Bride!” By August, the pop star was no longer pregnant, apparently, but now planning to wed Hemsworth in French Polynesia “by the end of the year.” Then, just days later, a cover declared, “Miley’s Big News: Pregnant… & Secretly Married!”
And these are just some of the stories the publication has run on the topic over the last few months. There’s actually more. So, why is Life & Style doing a 180 now? Well, the tabloid briefly spoke to Cyrus’ sister Noah, who is promoting new music.
In the magazine’s new edition, the younger Cyrus is quoted as saying, “There’s not any planning [going on] right now” And so, with that, Life & Style is announcing, “MILEY AND LIAM ARE NOT WEDDING PLANNING.” But is the tabloid admitting that this means all its prior stories on the subject were made up? Of course not.
That publication clearly prints whatever it sees fit at any given time, accuracy and consistency be damned. Gossip Cop, however, will continue to hold the tabloid accountable for these lies and flip-flops.
