Miley Cyrus Debuts Tattoo Inspired by President Teddy Roosevelt (PHOTOS)

Miley Cyrus has a fresh tattoo — courtesy of none other than Teddy Roosevelt!

The superstar’s left forearm now features words from the long-ago President’s famous April 1910 “Citizenship in a Republic” speech at the Sorbonne in Paris.

Cyrus’s tattoo reads: “So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat.”

Wow.

Although we can’t say we’re surprised a member of the Cyrus family drew body art inspiration from American history.

    There REALLY needs to be a law about drug & alcohol testing before someone gets a tattto. Possibly a 3 day waiting period.

    I’m all for tattoo’s, I have them, but I really wish her tattoo artist would tell her that in 10 years, that quote will be a blurred mess.

    it’s so dumb to get multiple quotes all over your body. Each new one brings down the value of the older ones. *oh look… another quote that is soooo meaningful!* zzzzzzz tattoos are DUMB and permanent. What you think is so cool and profound when you are 17 is going to seem REALLY dorky when you’re 42.
