Miley Cyrus Sings to Giant Statue of Dead Dog Floyd — WATCH VIDEO
Miley Cyrus, whose been nothing short of distraught over the death of her beloved dog, Floyd, was visibly upset on Saturday while singing “Can’t Be Tamed” to a giant replica of the pooch at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
She told the crowd afterwards, “That was the hardest song of the night to do. As y’all know, because I lost my Floydie this week… Sometimes I just can’t stop from breaking down crying.”
“But it’s so healing for me to be here with you,” she added. Cyrus also dedicated a cover of the Coldplay song, “The Scientist” to Floyd, and noted, “These have been the hardest days I have ever been through.”
As Gossip Cop previously reported, her dog suddenly passed away last week, leaving the star devastated. Mom Tish tried to boost Cyrus’ spirits with a new pup named Moonie, but earlier on Saturday the singer vented on Twitter about why she’s struggling to move on.
“I wanna sleep but all I can do is cry. I never wanna go home to a house where Floyd isnt running & playing. how do I get thru this.” Cyrus continued, “I feel physically sick & I am so emotionally and physically exhausted I feel like I have nothing else to give sweet baby Moonie.”
