Miley Cyrus SNL Twinkle Song

Miley Cyrus performed “Twinkle Song” on this week’s “SNL” for her second performance. The song is from her latest album “Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz.” For her first performance, Cyrus sang “Karen Don’t Be Sad.” See the video below of Cyrus’ performance of “Twinkle Song” on “Saturday Night Live.”

Cyrus played the slow, ballad-like “Twinkle Song” seated at a piano. As noted, it is one of the 23 songs Cyrus recently released for free online. Much like “Karen Don’t Be Sad,” “Twinkle Song” is also one of the handful of songs on Cyrus’ new album that she could play on NBC. Many of her other songs on “Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz” have too many expletives for network TV.

As Gossip Cop noted, Cyrus has hosted “SNL” three times, but only served as the musical guest twice. Last time Cyrus was on “Saturday Night Live,” she sang “Wrecking Ball” and “We Can’t Stop.”
