Miley Cyrus Postpones U.S. Tour Until August — See Statement and New Dates
Miley Cyrus is postponing the U.S. leg of BANGERZ tour until August, her rep confirms to Gossip Cop. The singer, who remains hospitalized for an allergic reaction to antibiotic, is still planning to begin her European shows in Amsterdam on May 2. But she will not resume concerts in the States until August 1.
“Existing tickets will be honored on the new dates, which include previously cancelled and postponed dates,” says a statement. “Additionally, two tour dates have been added in Pittsburgh and Chicago.”
As Gossip Cop has reported, doctors say Cyrus’ affliction could take anywhere from five to 27 days to resolve. The star has frequently taken to Twitter since her hospitalization, to express sadness at her canceled shows and frustration with being so sick.
Cyrus’ tour began in the United States in February. It raised eyebrows almost immediately due to the starlet’s wild on-stage antics. Disappointed fans affected by the changes can probably at least look forever to Cyrus coming back better, strong, and raunchier than ever.
It’s Cyrus’ overseas fans, however, who will get to experience Bangerz first. After Amsterdam, Cyrus heads to England, Ireland, France and so on. Check out the new U.S. schedule below.
