Like swallows returning to Capistrano, once again comes the rumor that Miley Cyrus is slated to star in a nude scene. This time the false report comes via the website AnythingHollywood.com, which is anything but timely – or accurate.
Under the headline, “Miley Cyrus Could Go Nude in New Movie,” the site dredged up the year-plus old rumor that the “Hanna Montana” star was interested in being cast as the lead in “Undiscovered Gyrl,” based on the upcoming Allison Burnett novel of the same name. The item quotes an unnamed source saying, “There would definitely be nude scenes.”
This story wasn’t accurate a year ago, and it’s still, as a rep for Cyrus told Gossip Cop, “Not true.”

I’ve told you guys already: She can’t be in nude scenes — she has a, shall we say, series of horrific disfigurements. So, what are the slander laws like for gossip website comments?
