Miley Cyrus: I Might Move Back to Nashville to Escape “D-Bag Paparazzi”

(GettyImages.com)

Miley Cyrus is not happy with the paparazzi in Los Angeles.

The singer-actress, who’s had clashes with overzealous photographers in the past, had another rough day with the paps on Thursday.

Cyrus took to Twitter to voice her frustration, telling followers, “Highly considering moving back to Nashville. I can’t stand these D Bag paparazzi anymore. Couldn’t even take my dog on a walk today.”

While she’ll probably need to remain in L.A. for her career, it’s clear that the fishbowl atmosphere is wearing thin on Cyrus, who already has to deal with incessant tabloid nonsense.

What do you think about her paparazzi problem?

Um…she brought it on herself…be careful of what you wish for Miley….you got it!

That’s what happens when ur famous. The paps are not considerate. So everyone knows that
They can’t have privacy unless they are at home or somewhere other then hollywood where
All the stars live you know.

  • Regina1180

I hate when people do that. Stop saying you might do something. Either do it, or don’t.

Of anything, she should consider thanking the D Bag paparazzi for keeping her relevant.

  • justme

come on folks this is sour grapes…. yes they are famous…. yes they make movies or write songs sing well but that is not a ticket to ride the train of rudeness…. have they never heard of telephoto lenses? They can take photos from a distance not run backwards with the camera in someone’s face while yelling anything and everything at someone to get a rise out of them so they can write a twisted story about them… I am grateful I don’t have to put up this the crap they have to put up with… and aren’t even aloud road rage… just smile and take it…. I think not.

the paps do go far I read that miley called the cops

I think all people who manage to ‘break out’ are very happy at first with the attention they get. Media talks about them, people step up to ask for autographs, paparazzi thinks they are big important enough to fallow them around. (Maybe not ALL new ‘stars’ but enough of them). And it takes a while before the negative hits. And then you cant escape them anymore. Do you think that Britney wants the media to fallow them around right now? I remember Hugh Grant was walking around in his neighborhood, and saw motherload of paparazzis in front of some building, and he asked them what is going on, and they told him “Britney Spears is in that house’. Remember princess Diana? She asked one paparazzi who had fallowed her for years, she asked him that when ill you leave me alone, and he told her “I will never stop fallowing you. I don’t care what country you move to, I will be there!”
I don’t blame them at first for being flattered at the attention, I think I would be like that as well. But I do think our celebrities need a law that protects them from stalking!

  • Jesse

I would love to see you and regina1180 to get hounded and hounded and HOUNDED everywhere you go for everything you do not being able to do a simple damn thing like walk your dog around your neighbour hood then tell me if you would still be singing the same tune its easy for people to say oh its cause there famous thats what you get but quess what you dont know what its like because YOUR NOT FAMOUS but people critize her what about Johnny Depp Brad pitt who have both been very vocal about how much they dispise the papz

  • Talia

    *follow.

But I agree with your points. I also believe that wanting to sing or tell stories for a living does not entitle other people to know about the rest of your life. You don’t follow the private life of your dentist because you admire the filling he gave you.

  • Krissu

Sorry about typos. There are more then just one.

  • Regina1180

I wouldn’t want to deal with that. But I know that if I became an entertainer or decided to do something in the entertainment field, I would have enough common sense to know that this is going to happen.

And don’t feel so bad for Miley. She’s been known to call paps and tip them off to where she’ll be. She uses them when it’s convienent for her.

EVERY entertainer knows it comes with the job but when your doing something as simple walking around the block or trying to walk your dog it would get really annoying and anyone would hate that and where excatly did you hear that one from a tabloid perez hilton?? ya do know there all bullshit right dont get me wrong i dont feel sorry for some of these celebs like lindsay lohan paris hilton or the kardashians when they bitch about being hounded beause they put them selves out there so much i just frankly am tired of the horrible negative comments people leave about miley you dont like her fine no need to call her a slut or a whore just beause she decided to grow up i respect her for turning from disney the way she did! i respect that she dosnt give a rats ass what the media thinks of her

  • Mayhemgirl

I think the paparazzi are ridiculous, they take things WAY too far. You know what I am wondering? Why some celebs get stalked SO much by papz and others not? I mean, some people are famous and make lots of movies and you never see pap pics of them. I wonder how they manage to not be followed around by them?

  • Jake

keeping her relevant? what? she has like 4-5 movies coming out through 2012-2013. what are you talking about? i doubt the paps got her those roles. you sound stupid, sorry.

  • Regina1180

Jus because someone is in movies, doesn’t mean they’re good at doing it.

  • grandegonads

The paparazzi are no different than the Mexican Drug Cartel. The more the people in this country support them [$$$] the longer they are here to stay. Long after Miley’s boobs fall to the floor…maybe she should put on a bra!

  • Jake

That’s not the case, though? Pretty sure you were talking about relevancy up there.

I think it’s because they manage to make it look like their private life is the most boring thing ever. It also seems that if you stay private in the beginning of your career, you can manage that privacy at the height of it. In addition I think that the people who truly are only interested in making music or telling stories don’t spend their time courting the attention. There are so many actors/actresses/musicians that you only hear from when they have a movie coming out or are releasing an album, or making the rounds at the awards shows.

  • Krissu

One actress that comes to mind is Kristen Stewart from Twilight. She has not made it a secret how much she dislikes being followed around by paparazzi and fans. She and other her costars have mentioned more then once that when they are in a hotel, all they have to do is open the windows to hear the screaming of fans. There is no way she has ever been out there seeking that attention, and yet the media can’t stop talking about her and her relationship. (Mostly in a negative light for it looks to be like media don’t like her not wanting to share her private thoughts and life, and that seems to be why they can’t wait for her to split with Robert Pattinson. )
Whether you like Twilight, KStew or Pattinson, don’t matter. But they are a great example how they don’t do anything to get the attention, they don’t go clubbing at all hours, they don’t put themselves ‘out there’, and yet it doesn’t matter.

  • ridiculous!

some of the comments are really ridiculous. I think Miley is an average young and talented woman, im just sick of how these idiots make a living off other people … none of you know how it feels to have these “cockroaches in your face all the damn time . so to say they are actors and famous and they knew what they were getting themselves into is utterly ridiculous and should validate this type of actions is really stupid!! i get it when they are promoting a movie but they also deserve a private life , they don’t owe the fans or anyone access to their private lives , do i really want to know what they do in their homes or what they buy when they go shopping, what they had for lunch or go see a show.. no! .. It wouldn’t be so bad if they just take a couple of pictures and move on , but they do worse they are actually in their faces blinding them and saying some sh*t to get them angry or have a reaction , follow them in cars , who to me could put any innocent bystander in arms way..So please don’t tell me they deserve to get harassed !!The other factor is money , gossip blogs pay top $$ to get these shots, basically they don’t give a damn about these people all they see is $$$$ who cares if someone gets hurt .. to answer why certain famous actors don’t get followed i think it’s because the fanatics are not interested , they get more money for people like Pattinson , Gosling, clooney Stewart ..etc.. fanatics don’t care what Streep , Roberts , or Jody foster are doing , which tells you who actually reads gossip blogs , mostly young teens and obsessed fans!!! so i suppose they need to constantly feed the beast!!!…..

  • guest

You couldnt have made a better point. People think that when a celebrity is famous it means the rest gets the right to know everything about them and that is why there are so many paparazzis because people want to see that… It is kinda sad… Also paparazzis really push it and torment stars just for a picture that could land them something. There have been accidents and it is said that the crash that killed princess diana was also caused because they were being followed by paparazzis

  • Anonymous

I agree with everything you said. It’s weird how this media thing works.

  • Arcachnar

Yes. Every star knows that when they get famous the paps will take interest in them. That is the price of fame. But. No one will ever want to lose their TOTAL privacy by pathetic people who keep on following them for 24 for hours per day. Have you seen the way the paps are acting these days? They will do everything to sell ‘news’ over other people’s back. Lady Diana WAS killed through the stupid actions by the paps.

  • Goodness

I agree with “Krissu” and “ridiculous!”. I honestly think the paps don’t care what happens as long as they get their money from any pictures they take and any “news” they hear. They have huge lenses now that can take pics from a good distance away, yet they get right in the stars faces. Like what Krissu said, it’s probably nice getting your picture taken, asking for autographs and pictures by fans, but after years of being famous, it’s probably not fun anymore, especially when your always in the news about something (bad gossip, tweeting something “horrible”, etc.) Yes, it’s the price of fame, people want to know what your doing all the time. Celebs have the RIGHT to a private life, life everyone else does. Wouldn’t you hate being followed around by a swarm of paparazzi?

I agree as well. They even pushed her mother to get a better view of Miley.

If you are a lazy good for nothing Papparazi who has to chace people walking around with their dogs- to help promote their “career” in dog walking, you shouldn’t even be on food stamps. The Government ought to put you where you belong, taking photos of Garbage dump sites, where the real news is in America. Your not true Journalists, your the Emperors new clothes. I can tell by your posts that your not very elegant people, and all you care about is your hot dog money while you go around legally spying on people in public while you take photos of “Celebrities” that don’t need you around.

  • WilliamsPrince

There is a code of ethics and honor in most positions and careers, but the papparazi have proven themselves to be worthless in even the small estates of human endeavors. They are empty shills, with no honour or dignity. Every Papparazi should know that just be choosing to be the Papparazi-they are going to have to live a life of scrutiny, poverty and hopefully soon. Fema camps. That’s just what comes with the Territory dumbass.
