Miley Cyrus Hospitalization NOT Tied To Death of Dog Floyd, Despite Reports
Did the death of her dog put Miley Cyrus in the hospital? According to a number of outlets, the pop star’s hospitalization for an allergic reaction to antibiotics can be tied to the recent passing of her beloved pet Floyd.
Perez Hilton, for instance, cites “insiders” who say that Cyrus’ medication was “to help her after [she wore] herself down partying and just being ‘an emotions (sic) mess.'” “She’s been so destroyed since her dog Floyd died and is allegedly suffering crying fits and hasn’t been able to sleep,” continues Perez. “Apparently to cope she’s been partying… HARD.”
The blogger adds, “There are allegations of tons of drinking and even drug use. So the physical strain on her body, mixed with the stress of her emotions has been making her sick and we feel just awful.” But not “awful” enough to actually check out the story.
Gossip Cop has learned that the speculation about Cyrus’ alleged self-medication and bingeing following Floyd’s death is completely off-base. While Cyrus was obviously upset about Floyd, a rep for the singer tells Gossip Cop that the theory she had to be hospitalized for dangerous behavior following his death is “outrageous.” We’re told that more information about her health status is forthcoming.
