Cops Swarm Miley Cyrus’ Home With Guns Drawn After Call Claiming Invasion

Truth rating: 10

Los Angeles police responded to what they believed was a home invasion at Miley Cyrus‘ property on Wednesday night, Gossip Cop confirms.

The LAPD tells Gossip Cop they received a 911 call just before 7 p.m., in which the unknown caller claimed there were intruders at the starlet’s home and shots had possibly been fired.

When the cops arrived — with their guns drawn — they found no such scene.

In fact, Cyrus wasn’t even home.

“We believed there was a crime in progress,” the LAPD spokesperson tells Gossip Cop.

The officer says it’s likely the call was actually from a “911 abuser,” someone who repeatedly calls in false reports of crimes — a punishable offense.

The department will be investigating the matter further.

A rep for Cyrus has not yet responded to a request for comment.

Gossip Cop will have updates.

I wonder how this person knew the address of her home?… or did the LAPD act without questioning that person to be sure that it wasn’t a false report. That call was from a hater or a nut, evidently. I just wish that they investigate that good and find that person, because if that person get away with what he/she did, then they might do it again with her or someone else. It’s a shame what these celebs have to go through.

I wonder how they can find someone who called from a telephone booth

If the idiot had said someone was hanging around the house acting suspiciously, I’m sure they would have asked more questions.. But the idiot said “there were intruders and shots had possibly been fired” so naturally the police would get their asses into gear because they thought someone was in real trouble..

    Isn’t it glamorous being famous…..

Where I live there are no phone booths. They got rid of them years ago. Phone booths here are things of the past. Maybe LA still has them… I don’t know!

It got some free publicity for her, didn’t it?
