Miley Cyrus Again subject of Uncensored Photos

Miley Cyrus is still 17, and blogs are still showing her private area.

The Superficial joined the creep parade today, posting an uncensored photo from the teenager’s performance at the MuchMusic Video Awards.

Gossip Cop is making a point of not linking to the post, where visitors can click through to a more explicit, “NSFW” version of the site’s censored photo (seen at right). The non-”starred” image shows way more of Cyrus than any blog should publish.

The Superficial explains, “Thanks to the guinea pig known as Perez Hilton, we now know this is entirely legal.”

Unfortunately, that’s where we now stand. Blogs taking “legal” cues from Perez Hilton.

Last week, you’ll recall, Hilton tweeted what he claimed to be an upskirt shot of Cyrus. The blogger backtracked with a litany of lame excuses, but the damage was done.

Perez Hilton has lowered the bar, and The Superficial happily limbos beneath it.

According to these blogs, it’s now permissible to show a minor’s genitals.

It’s not permissible now, and it’s never been.

Who’s to blame here – Cyrus, the photographers looking to sell these type of photos, or the bloggers buying and publishing these shots?

    First of all, I don’t believe Miley can be classified as a victim at this point. Yes, she is a minor, and the showing of minor’s genitals is ‘not right’. But she is NOT EVEN EXPOSED in these photos! You can see her inner leg.
    Secondly, if you look at the size of the garment that is supposed to cover her who-whoo, its NO BIGGER THAN TWO INCHES wide. If SHE doesn’t want her ‘who-whoo’ showing, than I don’t think she should be wearing those kinds of outfits. She put herself in this situation. She obviously knew that if she put her body in that kind of position, it would cause controversy.

    Victim? I’m sorry, but if you choose to wear something that’s going to flash your hoo-ha, don’t be surprised when pictures of your downstairs show up on the internet. I’m not in any way advocating the exploitation of a minor, because yes, it is wrong. BUT, Miley can’t wear a bathingsuit-and-ribbons outfit that shows her genitalia and then feel victimized when stuff like this happens. This is exactly why people are talking negatively about her, and this is exactly why she’s had to issue statements saying she’s not trying to dress “like a slut”. If I decided to walk around without pants on, could I really be upset, or surprised, or be considered a “victim” if someone took a picture and plastered it all over the internet? No. Because I would have brought it upon myself. The solution is simple: Cover up, and these pictures won’t be showing up so frequently.

    One thing is an accidental upskirt showing too much… Another is dressing like this and flaunting the crotch area directly in people’s faces as she obviously does here.

    The first is unintentional and shouldn’t be published.
    The second is very much intentional and can be posted, regardless of the subjects age.

    The real discussion should be about Miley dressing like this on stage. Personally I don’t mind, but I’m sure a lot of people are offended – usually because they put too much weight on the physical age of the subject. Most wouldn’t mind if Miley were 18 or 21… But she’s still just 17.

    So if a picture of your 17 year old daughter was taken in a bikini from this angle and something “flashed” the camera, you would be mad at her for wearing a bikini? Or pissed at the perv who took, and then kept the picture? This outfit covers more than a bikini, so I don’t see the problem.

    And what is the difference if she is 17, 18, 19 or even 20? We are basically still children. You don’t magically become mature enough to have your private parts flaunted over the internet when you turn 18. Its embarrassing for anyone. (Accidental nudity, not intentional.)

    I do not listen to Miley Cyrus’ music but I respect her as an artist for breaking out of her Disney Channel Tween shell. A lot of artists get stuck annoying us with the same crap until they are in their mid to late 20′s. I applaud her.

    This is how Miley is keeping herself in the “news.” She needs to put some clothes on if she doesn’t want her homebrew being shown off in the press. Perez is only showing what will attract the viewers — that’s HIS job. That’s what keeps him employed — give the people what they want (pervs or not, but we all know sex sells) and they will keep coming back for more. These two are feeding off one another — Miley by showing off her girly parts therefore keeping herself in the press and Hilton by showing them off to the rest of the perv nation. It’s a win-win situation (for lack of a better term) for them both.

    As soon as she comes of age she should just do a photo spread in a porn mag. Then everyone will know once and for all what she looks like and we can all get back to our lives.Why is everybody so suprised that

    I accompanied my seven year old daughter to Miley Cyrus’ Gypsy Heart gig on Monday night here in Australia.
    I am trying to see both sides to the whole debate, it is fascinating. At first I was overwhelmed and thinking maybe this is not appropriate but I did feel she was detached and acting or choregraphed and the emotion was absent, bit when she performed some of her favourites and you see the real love then you get it. Mileys cover of Nivanas Teen Spirit got me pumping but thats probably showing my age and when she performed The Climb everyone sang and cried. That was real. We know shes bloody amazing and we know the money printing machine has got her trapped. I hope she comes out the other end in tact. My daughter told me to chill out its only a song and shes an actress mum so its not real.

    Cyrus, the photographers and the bloggers are all to blame here. And while minors do need to learn what is appropriate or not, adults should still be held to a higher standard of accountability. They should not be publishing pictures like this of a minor, no matter how irresponsibly that minor is behaving. When she turns 18, though, her actions and the consequencs are all on her.

    I understand what you are saying, but this is not her first brush with private parts being exposed. If you’ve been a victim once then don’t you think you should take safeguards to make sure this doesn’t happen again? She has apologized for her Vanity Fair cover, a picture of a party that she was outed and other photo showing her over exposure. She should be mindful of what could be exposed if a picture is taken. She’s heading down the same road that Brittney and Lindsay, thinking that they were so popular that no matter what they did people would love them anyway; and their antics only grew in size and frequency. She needs to get real!!

    where are the parents in all of this. I know if my daughter wanted to wear a 2 inch strip to cover her privates while standing in a spotlight on stage in front of thousands I would flip out and make her wear a nun costume just for suggesting it. I dont care about the role modle aspect this is a self respect thing. She was a minor and her parents are not teaching her the value of self respect by letting her and her costume designer put her in barely there outfits. If anything as a law professional if this actually did show any of her privates and not just an outline I would be charging them for knowing about it and allowing it to happen.

    That is because no one has a clue anymore on how to dress appropriately in public. Again, this was not a pervert running around snapping pictures of Miley’s crotch. It was a profession picture taken at a event. Slips are one thing. Not dressing appropreiately is another. She should be ashamed of herself and you too for suggesting that it is appropreiate for young people to wear things that would show anything not suitable for public display. Go to the mall, go outside your house, or heck, go to your local school. Teens are wearing inappropreiate attire and we as a public are suppose to feel bad when something happens to them. DO NOT WEAR INAPPROPREIATE ATTIRE AND THINGS LIKE THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN. That is the facts, and the facts are undeniable. You can not cover up basic logic by using reverse psycology. If my child wore something inappropreiate, I would still consider it bad judgement on my child’s part. Plain and simple, dress appropreiately in public. You can be sexy and not show your privates in public, or don’t they teach that anymore?
