Curse Happy Miley Cyrus Won’t Have ‘SNL’ Time Delay (EXCLUSIVE)
Miley Cyrus will not have a time delay when she hosts the season premiere of “SNL” this Saturday, Gossip Cop has exclusively learned. This may be a bit surprising, considering when Cyrus was a guest on Thursday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” she cursed five times.
In fact, after Cyrus had already cursed three times, she told Fallon, “Excuse me, I know we’re on TV.” The “Tonight Show” host then, referring to “SNL,” said, “This Saturday… You know it’s live, right?” Cyrus noted that “Saturday Night Live” executive producer Lorne Michaels has already been saying, “Oh, boy!”
During Fallon’s 12-minute interview with Cyrus, the singer and actress cursed a total of five times. For those of you non-math majors, that’s an expletive once every two minutes and 40 seconds. Still, knowing full well how Cyrus likes to drop F-bombs and assorted other words unfit for Gossip Cop to print, “Saturday Night Live” will remain 100 percent live, and won’t even have the show on a seven-second delay like other shows do.
Gossip Cop asked a source involved with the show if “Saturday Night Live” had even mulled over the idea of having Cyrus on time delay, and we were told a resounding “no.” Let Gossip Cop know: How many times do you think Miley Cyrus will curse during the season premiere of “Saturday Night Live.”
