Miley Cyrus’s Buddha Statue Broken By Drunk Partygoer?
Miley Cyrus’s expensive antique statue of Buddha was NOT broken by a drunk guy during a party at her house, despite a fabricated tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it “never happened.”
According to the National Enquirer, the singer is devastated because an out-of-control guest at her home destroyed one of her beloved religious artifacts. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, in oddly unnatural language, “Miley, a serious student of Buddhism, showed pals during a private bash at her Malibu pad her fave antique Buddha statue worth thousands — but then some dude she didn’t even know charged it like a wrecking ball!”
The outlet’s dubious insider further claims that this drunken man started “grabbing and hugging the religious icon,” before he “smashed it to bits on the floor.” The “source” then goes on to say that Cyrus “shrieked hysterically” as the guest “hightailed it out the door.” But Gossip Cop looked into the situation, and a reliable source tells us no such incident ever occurred. We’re assured this tall tale simply “never happened.”
Unfortunately, Gossip Cop has repeatedly busted the Enquirer for publishing lies about the singer, so this latest one comes as no surprise. We previously called out the tabloid for wrongly reporting Liam Hemsworth had ordered Cyrus to remove her tattoos. And shortly before that, Gossip Cop debunked the magazine’s ridiculous story about Cyrus buying a new house to avoid Hemsworth’s snoring. This latest report from the repeatedly discredited outlet is equally bogus.
