Miley Cyrus Hits “Rock Bottom” & Admits “I Need Help!” Magazine FALSELY Claims
Miley Cyrus has secretly hit “rock bottom,” according to a bogus In Touch cover story that alleges her friends think she’s “on the verge of emotional collapse.” The tabloid, which once falsely claimed Cyrus “spent $50,000 to lose 15 pounds in a few weeks” and then accused her of starting anorexia rumors, now asks readers to believe it has the inside track on the “emotionally fragile” singer’s alleged “cry for help.”
In Touch claims Cyrus is “destroyed by fame and feeling totally alone” in the wake of her split from Liam Hemsworth and “constant criticism from haters.” The magazine says she’s now “turning to destructive behavior like nonstop partying and random hookups.”
To illustrate its point, In Touch puts together a sidebar that alleges Cyrus “hooks up with 4 guys in 4 weeks!” The four guys include Mike WiLL Made It and Theo Wenner — neither of whom actually hooked up with Cyrus — as well as an unidentified “skater-looking guy” at her album release party and an unidentified “male model” at a club. Nice journalism.
Meanwhile, a so-called “source” tells In Touch, “She doesn’t have many real friends and is constantly messed up. She never wants to go home, never wants to be alone and doesn’t want the party to end.” In Touch also revives its old attack on Cyrus’ body, citing a “source” who says, “She’s really unhealthy — she barely eats.” An “industry insider” is quoted as saying, “The way Miley has been acting is a cry for help.”
“She monitors what everyone says about her and lets that influence her opinion of herself,” explains the tabloid’s source. “If she continues acting out at this rate, she could be headed straight for rehab. It’s sad.” So is In Touch. The tabloid has been sensationalizing its coverage of Cyrus for years and years. Absolutely nothing substantial in the new story backs up the cover claim that Cyrus is admitting she needs help or hitting “rock bottom.”
“They have no idea what they are talking about,” a source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop, calling the In Touch report “far from the truth.”
