Miley Cyrus performed “We Can’t Stop” and “Blurred Lines” with Robin Thicke at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday. Naturally, she danced with massive teddy bears and twerked on Thicke wearing tiny booty shorts. Gossip Cop already predicts this will be THE most talked-about performance of the show, if not the whole year.

While Thicke and Cyrus might seem like an odd match, Gossip Cop can see why MTV decided to put them together. Both stars are having some of the best success of their music careers right now. Thicke released “Blurred Lines” in March, a collaboration with Pharrell and T.I. The song became Thicke’s first-ever number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also had an extremely NSFW video that was so controversially for its nudity that YouTube banned it for a time.

As for Cyrus, she released “We Can’t Stop” a few months later, in May. It peaked on number two on the Hot 100, and gave fans of taste of what’s to come on her upcoming album, which is slated for an October release. Like “Blurred Lines,” the infectious song has dominated radio play. And, of course, it also has a crazy video. Check out the video of their performance below!
