Miley Cyrus Lashes Out at Photographers Sitting in Front of Her Home

Truth rating: 10

(GettyImages.com)

Miley Cyrus is not happy again with the paparazzi in Los Angeles.

The singer-actress, who’s had clashes with overzealous photographers in the past, and even said  she was “considering moving back to Nashville” because of L.A.’s “D Bag paparazzi,” is once more lashing out at photographers.

On Sunday, Cyrus tweeted, “How is it legal for men I’ve never seen before to sit in front of my house and then follow me around! So shady and scary.”

Just five days ago, an annoyed Cyrus vented, “I hate paparazzi with a passion. disgusting pigs. (no offense to pigs).”

What do you think about her paparazzi problem?

I’m so torn with this. On the one hand, celebs sign up for this crap when they decide to be famous. I’ve also heard that she’s one of the celebs that will sometimes call the paps for certain photo ops.

But with that said, I don’t think the paps should camp out in front of the celebs homes. They are too aggressive most times and there should be laws in place that protect the rest of the public that may get in thier way.

  • Guest

Just because they are famous does not mean it is okay for people to follow them around, hide out, chase them or sit in front of their homes.

  • Chris

A lot of celebs try to minimize there exposure….she for years sought out ANY type of exposure (to her body particularly) she could get…and now she is mad? It’s not like she has a lot of talent. After all the hype helped make her a star, not her talent.

Thats the price of fame. Miley could always get a job as a cashier.

    You are so right!

Paparrazzi have always been sick pigs and need to be lashed out at more often. being sent to chase somebody on personal business while they’re grieveing after a loved one has passed away particularly a parent spouse or child is way out of control. I’m reminded of what the National Enquirer did to Joanne Woodward on election day 4 years ago just weeks after Paul Newman passed away. Miley lashing out at the Paparrazzi now is pointless while if Joanne had done the same people would’ve understood it and not made a big deal of it. but she’s a woman of grace and great strength those pics though were so sad to see she looked so vulnerable and alone without Paul who she had been married to for more than 50 years

i think miley’s gotta pay the piper. The issue I have with paps is when they stalk stars when they’re with their kids or just stalk the kids. The kids didn’t ask for the spotlight, paps should be kinder and more understanding… imagine if it were THEIR kid getting harrassed all the time.

I don’t think it’s fair to say that she signed up for it however, she was how old? 12 when she started working? That wasn’t her decision, that was her parents. She had no idea what the repercussions of that were. She probably thought that it was exciting at the time. On the other hand, Miley does put herself out there to be photographed and there’s no doubt that she seeks it out deliberately on occasion.

However, even if she signed up for it. It should be illegal for a group of men to hang around outside the home of a 19 year old girl, follow her everywhere and take her photograph without her permission for their own profit. It’s a sick idea. Sadly, we as users and consumers of sites like this and magazines are the ones who are the reason they are doing it. Because damn it, I want picture of Liam Hemsworth to look at every day.

  • Sheelly

For the most part, I agree with you. But I wonder if they are even there? It seems Miley likes to create hoopla around herself by making outlandish statements.

  • Sheelly

But is she even qualified to do that? hee hee

This is a form of stalking or is stalking. Regardless of celebrity or not if this was just a joe Blow like you & me we would be charged & taken to court. I think its wrong. When you are out & about in public then fair game but to sit outside someones home is not right. These guys have long lenses to see into privacy & that is absolutley not right.

To say pay the piper is immature comment as many other comments here because she is a celebrity. NO one signs up for that BS. Something has to be done with the paps on roads & outside celeb homes

if it were anyone else and anywhere else, that would be considered stalking and they would be arrested and have restraining orders against them. i don’t know why paps are allowed to stalk people, chase them on highways, in the name of “work” and just because a person is a celeb. they sign up for some attention but they have a right to privacy as much as the rest of us. we don’t NEED to see a celeb get coffee or go to the grocery store, that’s not news.

  • me2012

tsk, tsk, tsk, this is actually a case that without them she would be nothing…..that is the only thing that she has to offer, since leaving hannah montana…too bad, she just might have potential.

So I can meet the man of my dreams at Agelover .COM and then have Taxi Dave party drive us home. Sounds like a win-win.

Problem for Miley is that she has called them and most of the time she is more then happy to pose for them. Just look at what she wears she is dressing for them and without the paps no one would be paying any attention to her. Once again Miley is the little girl crying wolf there are plenty of celebs more famous and more talented then she is and we rarely see them. It’s funny that isn’t it? Miley uses the paps as much as they use her so no I don’t feel sorry for her if she really wanted her privacy she could have it. Miley wouldn’t know what to do with herself if they didn’t follow her she would have to tweet even more pictures of herself.

Can you blame the Papz when all she does is give them money shots? Talking about tit flashing and flashing of the other intimate part of your body!!! What does she expect?

  • No ONe

Paparazzi are extremely lonely people I mean if they can take the time out of their lives to camp outside a celebrities they must not have a family to go home to or lives to life if what you do all day is follow people that live their lives

  • kelsy

I think she either needs to get over it or move out of LA. FYI Miley when you’re famous, and your name is pretty much a brand, people are gonna want your picture. Bitching about them on Twitter is not gonna make anything change.

  • Darkeclipse

    get over yourself miley cyrus

  • Nina

I understand people when they say she chose this life so deal with it. But even so, it must be incredibly frustrating to be hounded everywhere you go. Every move, what you’re doing, wearing, all captured for the world to see. A paparazzi flashing pics on a sidewalk is bad enough. But grown men stalking the front of young womans house is to much. Because she’s famous they’re allowed? If that was happening to an average person their asses would be locked up. She has the right to bitch about it!

  • Koolkatt17

It is disgusting ! All of you can stay here and blame her for wanting this , my favorite bs line ” she signed for this ” .. Really ! None of you know what these people go thru daily what you take for granted they can’t have you are not being pestered by grown nasty men shouting crap at you in your face everytime you go anywhere . I’m sure she doesn’t mind sometimes but there should be a line , these pest cross it everytime and us I include myself accept it .. The day we stop being voyeurs in other people lives maybe it it stop .. But I doubt it . I do hope eventually a law can be passed to give these people some sort of normalcy when they are doing public events ! It’s so easy to judge when you are facing this nightmare …

  • Xenobyte

    Just move!

Hundreds of celebs have done that and the paps never follow because they can’t make a living sitting in the middle of nowhere waiting for their motiv to show, which never happens because rural houses often sit at the end of a private road where the paps can’t go. So all they’ll ever see are cars going by maybe once a day. Not a big money-maker.

But no. Miley knows that she needs to stay in LA if she want to be be where the work is, be it recording or filming.

  • NoBodyBusiness

Not me! I don’t care bout the Aussie. Wasn’t empressed one bit when he bought his tobacco products along with his soon to be wide here at the smoke shop.

  • http://twitter.com/ironduck Addie/Annie D

Personally, I think that there should be a law where the paps aren’t allow to be near the homes of celebrities. It’s already consider stalking if you’re out on their lawn, waiting for that “perfect” shot of privacy invasion.

But then, half of these comments are right. Just move to a suburb that has gates & guards.

And you obviously believe everything you read, whether factual or (usually when it comes to trash rags) bogus.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Elizabeth-Sullivan/100000475485926 Elizabeth Sullivan

Celebrities definitely need more intelligent people like us, who are repulsed by the BULLY Paps. Just because people can do something doesn’t mean that they should.

Anybody who truly believes that Miley was “asking” for some sleezebag to be holding a camera under her skirt is a fool, it’s nothing more than sexual harassment. Anybody who believes that celebrities “deserve” to have their privacy invaded deserve a kick in the ass.
