Ashton Kutcher And Mila Kunis Sue Daily Mail Over Paparazzi Photos Of Daughter Wyatt
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are suing the Daily Mail for using paparazzi photos of their daughter Wyatt without their permission. The couple, who welcomed their daughter in October, filed their lawsuit against the Daily Mail and its publisher Associated Newspapers on Monday in London’s High Court.
In Kutcher and Kunis’ court filing, the couple says the newspaper breached the Data Protection Act by wrongfully publishing “paparazzi photographs of family outings.” Their London-based attorney Paul Tweed said in a statement furnished to Gossip Cop, “Ashton and Mila understandably value their private and family life, and in particular their personal time with their daughter. Like any other family they should be allowed to enjoy family outings without being pursued by photographers. They have made it clear that they do not agree to the publication of photographs of such occasions.”
As Gossip Cop reported, this is not the first time a celebrity has gone after the Daily Mail. George Clooney once called the British paper the “worst kind of tabloid” after it ran a false story alleging Amal’s Muslim mom was upset about the marriage because of religious reasons. J.K. Rowling also sued the publication back in 2013 after it published a story misrepresenting an essay she had written.
