Mila Kunis has landed in Oz: The Great and Powerful.

The Black Swan star has joined James Franco in the prequel to The Wizard of Oz, which explores how a young magician ascends to power in the mystical land.

She is set to portray the evil witch Theodora.

Sam Raimi will direct the film, slated for theaters in 2013.

i’m sorry but i don’t think making a prequel is such a good idea

Actually there have been two books written which are prequels in a sense to Dorothy’s arrival in Oz. Both were highly successful and interesting. Whether the prequel will be any good depends on the way the story actually fits into the storyline of the Wizard of Oz. With Sam Raimi at the helm they movie should at the very least be very watchable and interesting.

My husband and I were watching this movie called Boot Camp (starring Mila Kunis, if any of you have ever heard of it).

If Mila Kunis is in it then I’ll go see it. I really like her as an actress, so good to see her doing more movies aside from her role on Family Guy.

Wow, I bet Mila Kunis will be awesome in this movie! I bet also her hair cannot get wet as the real mermaids, she looks like one! She reminds me of a girl I met long time ago and helped me create the perfect image of mermaids from some of my books – extremely beautiful creatures whose hair cannot get wet no matter how long they stay under water… Let the wonderful noise of the sea always sounds in your ears!
