Bachelor Creator Mike Fleiss Arrested For Harassing Brooke Burke, David Charvet
“The Bachelor” creator Mike Fleiss has been arrested for disturbing the peace after harassing his neighbors Brooke Burke and David Charvet. The producer is said to have physical threats against the couple and pointed speakers at their house that blasted the sound of dogs barking.
Burke and Charvet had previously attempted to win a restraining order against Fleiss, alleging that he’s been waging a campaign of harassment against them. Charvet says Fleiss has revved his car’s engine when he sees Charvet on foot to intimidate him, and that Fleiss told Charvet he was responsible for getting Burke fired from “Dancing with the Stars.”
A judge rejected the restraining order request, but after an investigation the Los Angeles County District Attorney has formally charged Fleiss with disturbing the peace by loud noise.
According to TMZ, Fleiss was uncooperative with law enforcement officials during the investigation. At one point, when police tried to interview him, Fleiss allegedly told them he was busy having sex with his wife.
Fleiss is the mega-producer behind “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette,” along with shows like “Superstar USA” and “High School Reunion.” He also produced the recent Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies. Gossip Cop will have updates on his legal situation.
