WATCH: Miguel Dakota Already Declared Next America’s Got Talent Winner By Howie Mandel On First Live Show — Agree?
Will Miguel Dakota win “America’s Got Talent”?
The singer, who wowed in his original audition, did it again on Tuesday’s live show with the classic “Come Together,” and Howie Mandel thought it was enough to take the competition’s top prize.
Note: It’s only the first week of the live shows!
“If this was not only the finale of the first live show, but if this was the last act we see [on the season finale], I think that performance would win the $1 million,” Mandel told Dakota.
He explained, “You are the package [people are] looking for. You are a superstar. You are the one in One Direction.”
Heidi Klum noted that Dakota wasn’t “too bad on the eyes,” and Mel B said, “That was just one hot performance.”
She went on to say he hit every checkmark on her list.
The lone dissenter?
Howard Stern, who worried Dakota lacked enough charisma and vocal strength, particularly in comparison to his predecessor on the stage.
“You had the unfortunate experience of following Emily West,” he noted.
