Mick Jagger Mocks Monty Python As “Old Men Trying To Relive Their Youth” (VIDEO)
Mick Jagger mocks Monty Python (and The Rolling Stones) in a new video touting the comedy troupe reuniting to perform in the U.K. for the first time in 40 years.
Monty Python is set to play 10 live shows in the coming weeks, beginning on Tuesday.
In the video, Jagger is sitting on a couch (with drummer Charlie Watts next to him), griping about the comedy group’s reunion, asking “Monty Python – are they still going?”
In a series of comments, the Stones frontman notes Monty Python was cool “in the Sixties,” but now they’re “a bunch of wrinkly old men trying to relive their youth and make a load of money.”
Like.. The Stones?
