Michelle Williams made a surprise cameo on the season premiere of “Cougar Town.”

At the end of Tuesday’s episode — the first to air on TBS — the three-time Oscar nominee appeared in a quick scene with her real-life BFF Busy Philipps.

    It’s always been lame, lame show and now that they’ve decided to emphasize the alcoholic side of the program, it’s just a skank-a-thon.

    I grealy enjoyed this cameo and I like that Williams and Phillips are actually friends in real life. I’m hoping she will be included in later episodes; I liked the small footage we saw of her character. My DISH coworker first told me about this guest appearance so I knew I wouldn’t be missing it. I watched on my DISH Hopper while I cleaned my house. I was able to start watching on my living room TV and then continued watching on my kitchen TV right where I left off. This made cleaning much more entertaining.
