Michelle Obama to Honor Taylor Swift at Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

First Lady Michelle Obama will honor Taylor Swift at the Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday.

Mrs. Obama is set to present the singer with The Big Help Award at the 25th annual event, hosted this year by Will Smith.

The award recognizes people who have made a major impact through their charitable endeavors.

Last May, Swift raised more than $750,000 for tornado relief when she opened the final dress rehearsal for her “Speak Now” tour to fans.

She’s been active with a number of other charities, including Habitat for Humanity and The Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Gossip Cop will have coverage of the Kids’ Choice Awards on March 31.

    Why honoring her when it’s because of her fans that she “was able” to have all this money to help differents charities! People gave their money not celebrities!!! As it is why not honoring Lady Gaga who did more than her, or again georges clooney! why that slut?? She’s nothing more than a spoiled little girl crying and disrespecting boys in her songs when they broke up with her

    Don’t forget how full of hate she is for anyone who dares to not like her…the song ‘Mean’ comes to mind…while at the same time she’s busy bashing girls who date guys she likes but can’t get, or who date her ex-boyfriends…the song ‘Better Than Revenge’ comes to mind here…

    exactly what I said!! She just dates boys, has her heart broken, and writes another song about it. That is why she will never be able to get married, she will need to divorce within a few months to write a new song lol. Seriously though,, i get that girls think they can relate to her, but shes not setting a good example for them, and to top it off, she acts all innocent about it all the time.

    Nice to see a young adult contributing to society. Also sad to see so many people making hateful comments on a post about someone making a difference.
    Some people just suck at life and pound their keyboards with hateful rants. tsk, tsk… weren’t you taught that if you don’t have anything nice to say, you shouldn’t say any thing at all?
